I wouldnt suggested taking lessons online bescause it can be difficult to understand what they are talking about. It would be alot easier especially if ur just beginning to take lessons from a real person, most music/guitar shops have people there that offer lessons for like 15 dollars for 30 minutes (which is pretty good).

You can try http://www.moneychords.com/ or you can just type in guitar lessons on Yahoo.com or Google.com and get a list of sites.

Check out http://www.actoguitar.com -- the lessons are all organized and have video and audio. Lots of good stuff there, all free :)
