Definately Slap Shot. It came right before the wave of corny, inspirational sports movies that never seems to end, and it was probably the last that had the right amount of sarcasm. Back then, they didn't think sports movies needed a big dramatic happy ending to make the audience feel better afterwards, because they realized it was only a game, and that made the movies a lot better.
if not slap shot, i'd go with D2: the mighty ducks
