He was right about the reserves, they are much better than the "main" team, keeping a few players like Lucio, Juan, Ze Roberto, Dida and Kaka. The other 6 positions could be better filled by the substitutes. Ronaldinho could be the exception, if the new coach pay more attention to him, giving him the opportunities he needs to shine. If he'll just throw the guy on the pitch, with the purpose of making miracles, then he better forget it, nobody can play alone.

2010 - Neutral territory on africa, which gives advantage to the south americans over the europeans.
2014 - Brazil will play in home country.

So no need to be desperate, we'll get the 7 stars soon enough. ;)

that's easy brazil didn't arrive until the end of the world cup because they were a bit ..no... overly confident that there would no team that would come near them until the finals.... I knew they would lose right when brazil's coach perriera said " our reserves can beat most of the teams in this tournament" that much confidence is absurd and ridiculous no one is that good... tht's my answer

i read that in a newspaper yesterday:

if brazil have won the WC this year, it would've been their 6th time and in that case the brazilian member of FIFA will have the right to become president instead of the German guy they already have. it's not good to happen in their own land is it??? that's why FIFA made a deal with the refs + loads of pressure on the players (like all the bragging about ronaldo's weight and ronaldinho's problems...) and here they are out of the game.
