North Korea Launched 6 missles yesterday afternoon of which they were intended to be launched to the United States West Coast.
It is was stated that they were NOT aborted but they failed after 10 seconbds after lanuch. The problem is the Government is down playing the Issue and saying it wasn't a threat-put "provocative".
How does everyone feel about this? I feel that there should be Action Taken Immediatly-alot of people's life are at risk right now.

What sort of action? Send troops to N. Korea? What troops? All those troops in Afghanistan and Iraq? They're busy. Clearly the only people whose lives are at risk from defective missiles are S. Koreans, Japanese and Chinese. Why not let them handle it? All we do is make the N. Koreans mad with our "My Way or the Highway" foriegn policy. That's why things have gotten to this point. The N. Koreans didn't want to talk with us around.

I think you have your facts a little distorted. Clearly, North Korea is a threat, but we cant go rushing in everytime some county bows up and flexes their capabilities. If they persist, in the interest of world peace, not because we are the USA, then we need to take action.

1. Their technology is 40 years old, and not very good.

N. Korea tested the missiles. They were not aimed at the US. Stop trying 2 start a war & get your facts straight.

they're not really threatening anybody.
on the contrary, they're trying to show off.
it seems to them that america is paying too much attention to Iran's nuclear power, so they're just showing off.
north korea tends to flaunt what they have. i don't view it as a potential threat; it's just north korea trying to spread it's wings in a really insane way.
either way, america doesn't want to mess with them until they have to because they have the fourth largest army in the world...
