Not going to college right after high school. If I could go back, knowing what I do not, I would have studied harder and got better grades, and then went to college.
Now I will be poor forever.
And college is too expensive, and too far away from me.

My biggest regret is all the stupid things I did when I was 15. Soo, unfortunately it is more than just one stupid thing that I regret. If I could, I'd go back to that time and try to do things differently.

But at the same time, I am a strong believer that things happen for a reason, and if I change something then, maybe all the good I have now, won't exist.

My biggest regret is not having learned that I had won a $1500 award before I graduated from high school. I regret it beacuse I ended up going to a college I hate only because I thought I couldn't afford better. Who knows where I could be now had I went to the college I wanted to go to, but such is the way of life. You only get one chance, and you must live with the result, good or bad.

My biggest regret would have to be having children.

Now don't get me wrong...If I had to do all over again, I would NOT get an abortion. I just wish I knew then what I know now... I have missed out on a lot.... I am extremely driven and very educated. I want to make positive and productive change. I have a drive and goals that are unmatched. However, by having children young, I was not able to complete college and really enjoy myself as a young adult. Travel and see things.... I had to grow up and be a mother and provider. Not a young, wild and free teenager.

There are a lot of points in my life where I went right instead of left.
1) I wouldn't have lived with my mother after parents' divorce
2) #1 would have meant not quitting school
3) Wouldn't have married the first jerk
4) #3 would have meant I went back and finished school
5) I wouldn't have put up with the hell the first husband gave me... would have left a LONG TIME AGO... this would could be counted so many times.
6) Wouldn't have married the current
7) if #6 is not an option, would have stood up to him/left him

I don't have any regrets at all! Lifes too short to keep thinking about what you could have done, what you shouldn't have done and what you could have done better. I have made many mistakes like the next person. I am only human after all. However, I have learnt from my mistakes and become a better person, so therefore they have aided me more than held me back. As long as people learn from mistakes and think of the consequences, then they will turn into good moral people.

I would have never married. I am divorced for 17 years., it was a big joke, He was lazy and controlling. We couldn't even afford to buy basic groceries.and tampax. He was a drunk and I was very young. I remember going to the township to ask for money to pay our basic utility bills. He thought I would look better because I was 8 months pregnant.
I have never been so degraded in my life. I spent years in court trying to keep my kids. He couldn't pay child support, he drank all the time and never owned a phone, but could take me to court over and over for child custody. He is a lazy slob with 1 of his front teeth missing. Grose, disqusting, and I cannot believe any judge would take him seriously. His new wife paid for the attorneys and the court costs. She is about skank.
I changed it by getting divorced and going to nursing school. I am a registered nurse and my kids are 20 and 18 yrs old. My daughter is a chip off the old block, she lies and is lazy and just 2 weeks out of high school moved in with a 25 yr old quy who is an alcoholic with no future.
She has no job, no car,no money, no nothing. I am so disappointed. I think her dad set the standards for her and she doesn't care. I just have to go on.

My biggest regret was not spending a year or semester abroad when I was in college. All my friends who did so said it was the greatest experience in their lives and the people I met who came from other countries to study here were amazing in their intellect and understanding. I let fear influence my decision and I regret that now.

I regret screwing up my credit when I was 20-something. I wish someone would have told me that when you don't pay your bills on time, it goes on your credit report and that bad stuff follows you around for 7-8 years! That's a long time! If I could go back and do it again, I would pay all my bills on time....all of them!

Letting her walk out the door. Worst thing I've ever done. Couldn't ever get it back again. F&*king stupid. If I could go back and just not start that whole chain of events, I think I would be a lot happier today. Too bad.
