Two more questions about The Sims 2?

I have a couple more quick questions with The Sims 2.
A) How do you change the picture of your town on the main menu page with all the other towns?
B) How do you get Expansion Data? Because when I try to order some custom content, it says I need expansion data that goes on to say I don't have it.

Your questions might better be answered at the link listed in my sources. Have no worries, the site listed below offers free user accounts. There is a wealth of information about both versions of The Sims games, as well as all their expansion packs.

*Side Note: Regarding expansion data, depending on what the custom content is that you are attempting to add, be sure that you have the appropriate expansion pack utilizing the necessary coding and so forth to make the custom content load and work properly in your game. Some custom content relies exclusively on certain additional data included in expansion packs, and NOT the original version of the game.

A. I don't understand what you're talking about. The picture on the neighborhood page? I don't know how to do that, sorry. You can probably find it on any number of Sims 2 fanpages, like Mod the Sims 2, Snooty Sims, and all that jazz.

B. You need to get the expansion pack related to it. You can find what's needed on the download page. The graduation Cap means University, The dancefloor is Nightlife, I think a christmas tree or something for the now-no longer produced holiday pack, A gift tag for Open for Business, and a Ship wheel for Family Fun Stuff (Which had a major theme of Nautical things, I have no idea why it was called Family Fun Stuff then, don't ask.)
