I am so sick of hearing about the world cup. I couldn't care less. I see nothing wrong with people playing sports and all but why is it such an obsession? I hear people say that sports keeps kids out of trouble but then why are there so many corupt sports personalities? I don't think they deserve what they get paid and I don't think of them as heroes. It just seems like everyone is so obsessed with professional sports and I could care less. People get into arguments it which makes no sense because it really doesn't matter who wins what. Sports personalities are promicous, use drugs, drink, and do all kinds of crazy things. I don't see why a sports personality would be called a role model.
Am I the only one that thinks that men getting paid a lot of money to play with a ball is just plain childish. The same applies to women's sports. I can't stand women's basket ball and think women athletes are just plain unfeminine

Absolutely. The only sports I have even a low tolerance for would be motorcycle racing (only in person, not on tv), or anything equestrian.
If I ever had to host a holiday at my house, I'd lock off the TV so that the men would be forced to communicate and participate, instead of being glued to the TV while the "girls" are out in the kitchen slaving over that hot stove.
