There seems to be a misunderstanding here. I have seen some answers that (correctly) indicate that God is eternal and had no beginning. this is the case because God created Time, along with matter and energy and space and information and the four basic forces and other-dimensional branes and everything else.

However, some have seemed to suggest that Jesus did not exist until he was born on Earth; this is not the case.

Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8); this is the same praise that is given to God in saying that He is the Alpha and the Omega, He Who was and is and is to come; the Almighty (Rev. 1:8) Similarly, Jesus is called the First and the Last. (Rev. 1: 17, 18) "I was dead, but I Am alive and I will live for ever and ever."

This parallelism is no error, but a means of emphasizing that Jesus and God are the same, having the same eternal characteristics. (We are running up against the limit of our finite understanding, here, discussing these eternal things.) This follows since God has previously said that he will not share his glory with any mere human being. (Isaiah 42:8) If Jesus had not been of Divine nature, God would not have allowed him to be raised from the dead, for such presumption.

The Trinity exist beyond time and space, but Jesus truly entered time and space as a man by being born in a human body just like ours.

This is one of the problems with envisioning God as being "an old, bearded man in the sky," or even with being a "personal god" at all. Most human beings have a hard time understanding God as being anything other than as a super-human being--one with parent-like qualities.

But what if God were nothing like humans, was not a "personal god" at all, and was best described as being the Source Of All and The Creative Power Of The Universe? What if God had no beginning, no end, simply just WAS? If anything, such a God could be said to have created Itself.

The Judeo-Christian religions view God from the POV that God is a parent-like "personal God"--a being that requires worship, devotion and obedience from His followers, and who punishes all those who are not His followers. Most human beings feel very comfortable (and comforted) with such a notion, and that's why this type of belief is very powerful...and popular. But it also leads to questions about God having been "born" from out of something that came before Him...because, naturally, if you see God as being very human-like, then that's a natural assumption.

We did. `Please read before you Judge this'.......
Humans created God as a device to fullfill our need to feel smaller and less empowered than we really are. To control the populations. Also fullfills the need to be more than we are, that there is something more than this life or this existance. We cannot except that this is all that may be. Our inteligence has lead us into dillusion. The concept of God has done great good and great evil at the same time. Some help others under the pretence of God others kill in the name of God. Examples of each include; The Red Cross and the Peace Corps / / The Holy Wars and Al Quaida.
One of the most successfull and longest lasting governments in the world has been the Roman Catholic Church. they have had influence over the world for centuries and other Christian groups are run-offs of this that have seperrated. Almost all of the religions and beliefs of the world contain one main God and one or more lesser or demi Gods or Dieties. There are good Gods and bad Gods. examples good; Sheeba, Yaweh, Zues. bad;. Haides, Lucifer, Posidon. Some link the lesser to the main God as one ; The Trinity. While in an other religion the have rank and orderly separration from the main God. focusing on specific needs of the people. All have supernatural powers of some form. Many create "miracles". Others control nature for good or evil. People all over the world have a tendency to place reasons or blame on the concept of God. That when they do not understand something they say " God works in mysterious ways". When something good happens " thank God or light shines down on me" and When bad or evil happens " one has angered the Gods" or " Lucifer, the devil, has forced this on me" or "God help me"
All-in-All I believe that the concept of God has been more beneficial to the human race than damaging and feel it should continue. For it gives many people a feeling of hope to push through hard or difficult times or find the least disruptive/ destructive path to answers and solutions.

Depends on your definition.

Most people's definition is that God is eternal ... the first mover ... the first being ... nothing created him.

Why must everything be created by something else?
