I have been a temp for 4 months. They keep promissing to hire me but nothing has happend yet. They keep pushing me off another month. And at the same time telling me how wonderful I am,and what a great help I am to everyone.

Hang in there-there's red tape involved, if you're sent to them by a temp agency they have to pay the agency a lump sum to hire you or hire you through them for a certain amount of months. Be patient and continue to be pleasant and a good worker. You'll soon get hired.

You should always keep your options open when it comes to temp jobs, do the work that you were hired to do so that you can still have income coming in. But also look for other openings on your own that offer more or can get your foot in the door. It isn't wise to quit something before you have something else lined up because that will make you have to go through the temp agency again. Keep doing what you have been, and make them realize that if they don't make a move fast they will miss out on a terrific employee.

You shouldn't limit you options just because you received an unofficial job offer.........Keep sending out resume's and apply other places. Because if the job keeps putting you off for another month just imagine what would happen when they hire you........

that happened to me last year, they kept telling me how i was really helping out the company and etc and etc. i quit after 3 months of the one more month and got another job
