Individuals only over what they personally would say.

Anything else leaves way way way too much potential for abuse. Power corrupts, and political power corrupts absolutely. The most dangerous possible scenario is the government being able to determine what people are allowed to say and whether or not people are allowed to express their opinions.

Hence the entire purpose of the 1st Amendment.

No one. I think censorship is uncostitutional and selfish. I mean for violence on TV...some people think it shouldn't be aired because they don't like it. Censorship was the problem in the book Fahrenheit 451 where one kind of book offended one group of people and it snowballed until there were no more books at all. the same thing could happen in America or the world with books, TV, movies, and life.

If you start it, where will it end. There is always something out there offensive to someone. You don't have to agree with it, and you don't have to look at it or buy it. THAT is your choice and your right. Telling others that they can't agree with/hear/look at/buy it is a violation of THEIR rights. Your rights end where someone else's begin.
