In today's New York Daily News, we have an excerpt from the following article:

"Lil' Kim spent her Fourth of July the same way as millions of other Americans - with friends, family, and a big plate of barbecued chicken and ribs."

Is this journalism or racism?

Why assume racism? Maybe that is what was served for the meal. It could be factual.

i would think journalism because she was compared to 'millions of other americans' this seems generalized enough to cover what it says and plus how many americans didnt celebrate that way? i know i did!!! hope everyone had a happy 4th !!!!

Neither. If it said "she spent her holiday the same as millions of other black (african american, or whatever) Americans" then I'd see your point.

Not either, just journalism, if you think this is racism, please don't go outdoors, the night sky might be intimidating because it is Black.
