I am not only from Wichita but was born here, raised here (and in Mulvane for a few years), went to school at Friends University, and have spent the rest of my life working here.
The greatest thing about being from Wichita is that I know how to spell it. It's not Witchita!!!
Seriously though, I love it enough to have started a family here. Will my daughters stay here? Don't know. That will be their choice. But they will have had the honor to say they were raised here.
