Sure they might give a 1000 dollars here a 1000 dollars there but....for a working class people who make less then 50000 grand a year why should we give when they can afford to give for us

They want/need the publicity - it makes them look good. Therefore, a charitable act on their part is really extremely selfish.

I totally agree. It pisses me off when I see actors with millions doing some commercial they are probably being paid to do asking US to give money. Screw that. Those jerks living the high life can afford to throw in all that we can and more.

we all need to give to those who are needy at a level we are comfortable with. i would suggest between 1% and 5% of your net income yearly. that guideline applies to the rich as well. in general they give a lower percent then us middle class people. go figure.

So true and my favorite is when they cry about the climate. Celebs all living in the same town all take an individual private jet back and forth to an event and tell us to stop contributing to the green house effect! Just go back to making bad movies please...

Because we are all a part of the world, and we all should help. Even if it's only $5.00 a week, it would certainly help someone who doesn't have anything. They are setting examples for us to follow.
