i would like to know if anyone has used legweights to jump higher, if u have did it work well?
can u please answer these few questions
how heavy were the leg weights?
how long did you wear them each day?
how tall are you?
are you hitting the backboard or rim? if so wich 1?

My bf used to use leg weights when playing basketball. They can help your legs get stronger so you can jump higher, but not that much.

He's like, 5'7" and used 5 lb weights on each leg. After practicing for an hour or so, he'd take them off and play for an hour so, then put them on again, and keep going back and forth. You FEEL like your jumping higher when you take them off, but you're really not. You need to practice with them a lot to build up your leg muscles, then you'll be able to jump a little higher. Don't expect to be able to jump 10 feet high or anything, but maybe up to 5 inches higher than you already do.

Don't use ankle weight they can f*** up your joints. I'm 5'5 without shoes on and I am about 2 inches from rim. Im also 14.

squats and playing on a low court. YOu tend to jump more playing on a low court and strengthens those muscles. 6"1 and can dunk with two hands.

Do Hand-clings and Power clings. These exercise increases the explosion power of your legs. I'm 5'9, 185lbs and can dunk

i wouldnt recomend working out with leg weight they mess up your joints. u should stick to squats.
