when does a woman's purse deserve to be called a 'bag' - how big does it have to be, or is size not the issue? Are there functional pieces? Is it a style thing? Thanks!

It's mostly a more trendy way of referring to a purse. I use the term "bag" b/c it sounds cool. I think the word "purse" kinda sounds old. But either way its called, a bag is mostly a purse.

Purse is and Odd word i call it bag. IT becomes a bag when you put candy and makeup and girlie stuff in there and it cant all fit in the purse and you cant just narrow it down you have to get a bigger purse (bag)

bag just comes from the word handbag and some people call it that just more like famous people you see them calling it there handbag and or bag more than you see them calling it there purse
