a lot of that would depend on the security features install in the computer. A lot of companys do backups periodically also and it could possibly be too late for total erasure anyway.

it really does depend on your network securty features also if the laptop is owned by our compnay they may have installed software to track the activity but if it was an accident dont worry just keep cool and if asked about it tell the truth that it was an accident. also to clear your internet history follow the steps provided by the above answers

Why do we have to live in fear? If it was an accident, it was an accident... If you are running Microsoft Internet explorer, click on Tools, Internet Options, General, and Clear History from the history tab.

open your browser
click on tools-internet options-
at the bottom you can clear history
in the middle there are 2 other options if you want remove more evidence delete cookies and delete files
