I'm not sure a remake would be all that great an idea. Who could be as creepy as Rutger Hauer.

You know, I have to admit, of all the horror films that could be remade, The Hitcher is begging for it. And it might be good if they cast someone as good if not better than Rutger Hauer as Ryder (imagine Kevin Spacey being cool, calm and confident?).
Yeah, they're remaking all the classic horror films...this one would be one of the better ones.

No, No No, No No!!!!!! It will be awful no one could out do Rutger Hauer, and anyway they're already making it with Sean Bean no less!!! It's gonna be so bad.
Sorry, I need to calm down, The Hitcher is one of my favourite films of all time.

Ya, I agree a remake would be cool and I love that movie, but who could take on the criminally insane persona that rutger hauer perfected?

Defintely the orginial is a little old now so a remake would be oober amazing

No. Hollywood does enough remakes that are horrible....why not come up with something original?

Alls I know is, ever since that movie, I take a good look at my french fries before I eat them. ;)
