Would be unwilling to give up my refrigerator as it is difficult to maintain food freshness without it. how do i know! Went back to the land in the early 1970's and lived out in the bush minus electricity. Impossible to keep veggies crisp, or butter firm in the summer; everything had to be consumed in a fixed period of time then i had to make my way down to the village in the valley 15 miles away for some fresh nutrition. The mountains did not allow for vigorous vegetable crops so i used my water well for dairy products etc. I lowered a pail into the cold, clear water filled with a few choice items for cooling. I much prefer a real fridge now that i am in my 50's. The reason women went to market daily in the past was due to the lack of refrigeration. Daily visits to the open market was necessary to provide proper fresh nutrition to one's family and it doubled as a social outing.
Yes, i am done.

I would have to say the computer. If I had nothing else, I could still cook, with fire. I would at least be able to watch TV on a computer, keep up with the news, chat, and I could research how survive without all my appliances!

Coffee maker. Seriously though, I could wash dishes but not take the laundry out all the time. I've HAVE to have a clothes washer and dryer.

The refrigerator comes to mind. I'd hate to think of how to keep food cold in the climate I live in without one.

Stove, refrigerator, micro and vaccuum cleaner! eek, that's 3 more than I can "claim".... I guess the fridge... I can eat sandwiches which cancels the stove and micro and I can sweep the carpet for hair and brush it clean for spills .... if need be.

I don't want to live without any of them! But, I guess we'd really be in trouble without a furnace and a fridge. I hate to admit it, but I really also love my television!

If the frigde were counted out (b/c we NEED food) I'd have to say my washer! If I had to do all those clothes by hand I think I'd die. But, hanging them out to dry isn't so bad.
