I have two hard drives, one of which has been damaged and can not be repaired.
The older one has not been used in a long time and has a fresh copy of windows xp on it.
Is there any way that i can copy the fresh os onto the one thats damaged?
(i no longer have the os cd)

Not that I have ever seen. Cloning is the only option I know of.

My guess is that your don't want to clone becasue it will wipe out all the data files (music, pictures, documents, etc.) you have on the damaged hard drive. Why not copy those files over to the good hard drive before you do the cloning? Then they will be cloned back to the damaged drive and not lost.
