i sent in a question about an hour ago saying that my tests came up posotive like 3 in a row yesterday said posotive but when i went to the doctor he didnt even wait for the test to be finished its job and told me after like 40 seconds that it was negative so i asked for a preg test to bring home with me and he gave me a new one and when i done it the result was posotive so i obviously am pregnant but do i tell anybody or do i just keep the pregnancy to myself

I would go to another dr. if you can. If you are pregnant you want your doctor to do his job. You want him to be patient with you for any questions you might have regarding your preg. That was not right of him to assume you were not preg. by not wanting to wait for the result. What kind of Dr. is he. I don't want him for my dr if he did. You need to see another dr. and take the test over. Don't buy another test at home. You know that is positive. See another dr. and good luck to you and child. And, yes your definitely preg. Enjoy the little life growing inside of you.

There are a couple of pharmacies in my area that do a test for you if you take in a urine sample. They will give you the result on paper then you can go and shove it under your doctors nose! But if i was you i would see a different Doctor cos he sounds like he doesn't know what he is doing, why did he only wait 40 seconds? You cant carry on like this alone maybe you should confide in a close friend or family member who can help and maybe go with you to the Doctor. Good Luck.

2 bits of advice....1.get a new doctor. this one obviously was not taking the time with you that you deserve. having an ob/gyn that you can talk to and get feedback from is essential throughout your pregnancy. 2. telling your partner you tested positive w/home kits is probably the first person you should tell. you will know when the time is right to tell other friends and family. (after of course your pregnancy has been confrimed by a better doctor).

Go back and ask to see another doctor a female one is your best and stay there until its done. my doctor also told me i wasn't pregnant but the test did say negative. The negative result is now three years old with a terrible attitude!!!

i would go to another doctor... and i wander if the pregnancy test is good.. usually the doctor should be able to tell...but it does not seem like a very good doctor to not even wait for the pregnancy test to be finished.. i do not believe i would say anything until i knew for sure.. unless you have a good friend and you are use to talking about things that are happening in your life...

Go to BOOTS and get them to do a test for you, I went through 6 preg tests and three blood test to confirm my third pregnancy!!
If still nothing confirm I would go the hopsital and ask for some advice or see a diff doctor at your surgery and ask them to refer you to gyney
Then eventually gave birth to another darling baby boy :)

Bring your test results to a different doctor and have him/her test you, too. And make sure they do a blood test instead of a urine test. and if you are still not satisfied, ask for an ultrasound. Wait unil you are totally sure before telling everyone (I prefer waiting until after 3 months).

If you are still not sure if you are pregnant or not, take a unrine sample to your doctors get him to test it while you are there, if he says you are not pregnant ask him for your results in writing ,take this to another doctor if you are still not happy and get another opinion, then if you are pregnant I would advise you to tell someone close to you perhaps the babies father. If you are pregnant it's not just your health you have to worry about you have to think about the baby and seek pre natal care, and start taking folic acid immediately to help the baby to develop

Hi, well I guess there is no denial that you are pregnent as these tests are normally 99.9% accurate, there is no chance of keeping it quiet as obviously the truth will come out eventually and obviously u will show the signs of pregnancy in a given space of time.

do ask the doctor aain that many positive cant be wrong, as for telling ppl its up to u, ive just found out im pregnant after 2 years and couldnt keep my mouth shut even tho i always thought id wait to 3 month. do what u and partner feel like doing
