I love DirecTV because you get the most bang for the initial buck. I could really care less about HBO and those channels, all I really want is basic "cable" channels, maybe a few extra. DirecTV gives me that. I also like how you dont have to go to a certain channel to get the guide, you can see whats going to be on at anytime, anytime you want to!

I had DirectTV when I lived with my mom, and now I have digital cable in my apartment. The only difference between the two is that if there's a storm DirectTV will more than likely go out since it's satellite. However, digital cable doesn't offer some of the special packages that DirectTV does (ex. sports channels for the length of the season). Does that answer your question?

yes but i hate the billing system. the other day i got a bill and it was due the day i got the bill. they cut it off. it is back now.

I do... and I like it.
The only bad thing I can say about it, is that you may have signals problems when it rains.

i have dish network. my husband is a tech there. i love dish network, i wonder what i ever did without it!
