My best 11 players (out of 23) are in main part Italians and they will play in 4-3-1-2:
Buffon (Lehmann, Van Der Saar)
Cannavaro Materazzi (center defenders)
Lahm Roberto Carlos (Side defenders) - substitutes are Grosso, Friedrich, Sorin
Zambrotta - Vieira - Maxi Rodriguez on midfield - Gerrard, Gattuso, Pirlo and Frings as substitutes
Totti (Figo)
Ribery Toni (susbtitutes are other 2, I've to choose between Klose or Henry, Gilardino or Podolski)

I'm not sure what you mean by this question...but if you're asking which 11 players would make up the best world cup team...it's going to have to be: ronaldinho, kaka, beckham, zidane, rooney, christiano ronaldo, henry, ronaldo, cafu, and just for shits and giggles, bring back pele and beckenbauer. There is the ultimate world cup team.

Cristiano Ronaldo on someone's 2006 "Best 11" team? Yikes!
I'd swiftly replace him with much better players such as Joe Cole, Arjen Robben (whom I despise), Freddy Ljungberg...etc.
Robben may dive even more than Ronaldo, but at least he scores from time to time.

I definetly say Italy. They have the best defense and their superstars Totti and Toni, and they have the best goalkeeper currently in the World Cup... Gianluigi Buffon!
