I really enjoy walking barefoot wherever I go. In fact if I could I would never wear any footwear - weather permitting. Is this just me being "weird" or are there other people out there who enjoy the natural pleasure of going barefoot?

I immediately tuned in to your question...'cause I'm barefootin it through life, too! I'm totally with you, dude...shoes are for sissies! I just love being barefoot...it's just so natural. And besides, my feet HATE shoes and can't wait to get them off. My toes hate being cramped inside a shoe...it's like they're clausterphobic or something...they don't like not being able to wiggle! So, to answer your lovely question...you are ANYTHING but weird, dude! Barefootin is WAY cool...and so are we! Hang ten....................................

I like going barefoot if I can. I believe it's supposed to be better for your feet if you can do that, they get air and aren't squeezed into hot tight fitting shoes all the time.

I'm sure I read something ages ago about a man who never wore shoes at all, even when he went out in the street he still went barefoot. I think he said that after a while, the soles of your feet harden enough so that it's not that much of a problem.

Going barefoot is not only very comfortable but it is also a political statement, a rejection of man-made civilization. In creative writing, shoes have always been a symbol of the glittering yet alienating trappings of Modern Man. I like the expression "natural pleasure," something I love and cherish too. Once under a table or a chair, my feet have this tendency to kick away the stifling shakles.

I did that as a kid. In fact when I was little I hated shoes and often got yelled at for taking mine off or going barefoot in public places. But since I grew up, I've stopped going barefoot and my feet have gotten alot softer, so now I don't' go barefoot anymore because it hurts. Now I wear every kind of shoe, but I do love flip flops.

Going barefooted is very comfortable, and I prefer it most of the time. When I do have to wear shoes, I wear flip flops most of the time, and that way I can just kick them off.

I like walking barefoot on the grass or the beach. It's a bit weird in the city centres though.

I love being barefoot!

I have a habit of kicking off my shoes at the dinner table in restaurants and tucking my feet under my knees like indian style to eat. Ex-husband hated that....New boyfriend things its cool and endearing.

Well, it could be both. Barefoot on the beach--cool, barefoot in the airport --weird.

I love to go barefoot! When I have to wear shoes, they stay on only as long as is permissable. I take them off as soon as I can.

I enjoy being barefoot.
Except the time I stepped on some cactus.
Or the time I stepped on a wasp.
Or the time I had to walk a mile on asphalt roads & it was near 100F.

So I guess it all depends.
