My favorite french movie is Tatie Danielle about a grouchy old woman who tries actively to harm those around her, until she meets a woman who is supposed to look after her while her family is gone for the weekend. Great film. It's rare for such an evil woman to be captured quite so comically on film. It's a top 10 must see as far as I'm concerned.

There is a recent Horror/suspense film called "High Tension"....very entertaining film with a nice little twist at the end. Kind of reminded me of "Intensity" by Dean Koontz.
Drop by your local Blockbuster and give it a look.
