So hard.

Books: 'Waterland' by Graham Swift, 'Birdsong' by Sebastien Faulks, 'The History of the World in Ten & a Half Chapters' by Julian Barnes and 'The Bone People' by Kerry Hulme are some real faves.

Films: 'Clueless' (fantastic adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma), 'Shawshank Redemption', 'To Kill a Mockingbird' (also love the book), 'Another Country'..... on and on and on

To pick just one book and one film is almost impossible, so I shall cheat just a little and select a book that I have loved and re-read many times since I was a boy ... and was made into an astonishingly good film that matched perfectly my vision of of its world and characters.
What else but ..."The Lord of the Rings", probably the best "film-of-the-book" ever made.

certain. yet i imagine it should be a popularity you want to boot as a personality you want in the e book or movie. i'd, as an celebration, be tempted to call my daughter Annabel Lee - a eye-catching call, and a eye-catching poem (by using Poe). And if it really is an really unusual call and in ordinary words fairly linked with that e book or movie, i imagine it will be unwise - as an celebration, although a lot you want Lord of the earrings, you likely does not opt to call your son Frodo. yet you should call him Sam, it quite is a superbly favourite, astounding call, or perhaps as he's older you may study him the e book or teach him the movie and tell him how he's called after a personality who's reliable and dependable and selfless and so on. in case you loved Lord of the earrings and needed to bypass somewhat extra glaring than merely Sam, you should call your daughter Arwen, which i imagine is a awesome call yet in ordinary words followers of the series will realize it (while maximum persons may realize Frodo). that is an exceptional line, i imagine. you should imagine about the outcome of the call, both in the context of the position you purchased it and in the context of the e book or movie. you do not choose your baby to be teased for having a ludicrous call, and also you also do not choose your baby to have a similar call as an evil personality - a assassin, as an celebration. It relies upon how glaring you want it to be. you should love 'Wuthering Heights', and make contact along with your daughter Catherine, yet may you fairly opt to call your son Heathcliff (fairly except for the moral dubiousness of both characters)? My advice: p.c.. a popularity you want. If it really is totally of route from a e book or movie, ensure you've study or watched it and are ok along with your baby being linked with that personality.
