You can do whatever you want, but before you get a tattoo, think about this...
How will that tattoo look to you and what will it mean to you when you are 30, 40, 50, etc., years old? Will it still be something you want permanently fixed to your body then? Will a future husband or children be proud of a wife/Mom with that tattoo? Unlike a radical haircut, clothes, even piercings which will heal up, a tattoo is permanent...unless you want to spend BIG bucks for laser treatment to get rid of them...and there are potential side effects or bad results from that. What are your career plans in the future? Many employers do not want visible tattoos on their employees. Will that be a factor for your plans?
If you can honestly say that you see no problems in the future for your life and relationships having that tattoo(s), then go for it. But be sure you HONESTLY have considered the effects of this action.

i don't think there's anything wrong with women getting tattoos. it's her body, she can do what she wants to it and if others don't like it ... then too bad for them. i have 4 tattoos myself and looking to get more.

Nothing wrong. As soon as I turn 18, I am getting all inked up. I already have around 35 piercings, and I want the ink to match.
