Try using AdAware. I think they are the best and I've never had problems on my computer. There's is free for life. I also use Mcaffee antivirus. Try cleaning your computer with these, do a disk cleanup because they like to hide in your temporary files, restart. If that doesn't work you may need to restart in safe mode (F8 before the microsoft start screen comes up) then clean again. If that doesn't work you may need to do a system restore to an earlier date before you had those things popping up.

Like I said, I use Adaware and Mcaffee and I've never had any problems. I run Adaware once per day and Mcaffee once per week. I do a disk cleanup everyday and disk defragmenter at least once per week.

I also have Windows Defender, but so far it hasn't caught anything.

First, don't be scared.
Second, visit www.hitmanpro.nl, hit download and run it when it's done. It's a Dutch program that incorporates multiple adware-killers and it will clean your pc up. It will do a lot of installs and scans, but don't worry: it's definitely the most comprehensive protection you could get for free. When you're done, simply de-install it again. Though a Dutch program, it can be downloaded in English!

You can go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and download this free spyware/adware remover. Run a complete scan on your computer to remove the adware.

Go to www.pcworld.com and download Adaware SE, Spybot Search and Destroy, and CWShredder. Install them and run them twice a week. I use them and I do not have any problems.

You need a good pop up blocker. Or a firewall. Try Norton Antivirus.
