I've never been to jail but my bro-in-law has been in prison a lot and he learned welding he is currently working on a dome of some sort in California and is trying to get a foreman position in China. He currently in the U.S. is making more money then my husband who has never been in jail and my husband went to school to learn heating and air also does electrical work. If my bro-in-law gets the job in China he will be making close to twice as much as his uncle that has spent years in collage (something with computers? He's a nerd.)

A friend of mine has just come out of prison, he's now on a tag for a few months. He used his time pretty constructively, he got GCSEs and A Levels, and had a job putting strip lighting together, the pay was only 50 quid a week but he managed to save 500 pounds by the time he was released.

No, but I took a tour, once. Did you know that some prisoners eat spagetti with ketsup, instead of pasta sauce? And that the halls in jails are similar to dimly lit basements?

I did 30 months of a 5 year bid, for drugs BTW, I worked in the kitchen and made wine, school wasn't invented yet or at least wasn't offered to scum-bucket cons!

i spendt one night in jail, having been wrongly charged for a crime that never happened.
i suppose i used the time adequately-constructively, but i negelected to discover a cure for cancer.
