The answer is yes...and no! Yes, you can get pregnant but conception would not occur on that day but several days later when you've actually ovulated. How? Because after intercourse, sperm can survive in the woman's body for up to 7 days. Amazing!

Example: Your period ends on Day 6. You have relations on Day 8. Sperm survives until you ovulate on Day 12.

This would all depend, of course, on what your cycle is like and if your cycles are regular.

I got pregnant in November within a week of my period ending. It's rare but it happens. I happened to ovulate early that month. Life finds a way. Our baby is due in 5 weeks!

Getting pregnant can happen anytime. There is no hard and fast rule but there are some guide lines. If you are using the rythm method that is having sex after the woman period, then the 7 seven days after your period is moderately safe. As once the egg is washed from the womb, it is gone and cannot be impregnanted. 60/40 % safe.

no....it depends on your cycle..most cycles are about 29 days. making the time to get pregnant about 15 days AFTER your period ends.

From what I know, there are no hard and fast rules. Everyone is different and every month can be a little different for the same person. Your odds may change, but generally, I'd say yes.

You can get pregnant literally any time during your cycle. There are no completely safe days.

Don't be fooled ... you can get pregnant ANYDAY of any week ... even during your cycle. It's highly unlikely, but possible nonetheless. Talk to your ob.gyn if you don't believe me!
