1. Safe mode is a tool. You can restart the computer in safe mode, and only necessary things will open to run the computer--not all the extra stuff and programs. It is used to solve problems.

2. An encrypted page is like when you go to email, so they code the page so people can't hack into your email. Encripted means coded. It is used to protect personal information that you type onto the internet.

3. Default means the program or settings automatically used. When you click on a picture or music, whatever program opens the music or picture is the default program. You can change the default program. When you put on printers, you have to choose a default printer--the printer that will automatically be used unless you tell the computer otherwise. Default settings are the basic settings that the manufacturer set in a program when they sold it to you. You can change settings, but there is often a button that allows you to reset the default settings (I use that when I screw up the settings).

1) Safe mode is a protected mode for Windows so a person can do certain tasks that cannot be completed in normal mode.

Safe mode is not intended for everyday use.

2) A page that is encrypted is done for security reasons (like buying something. Those pages start with HTTPS, and not HTTP. Your browser warns you when you leave one so you don't type a credit card number in on a non-encrypted page.

3) Default is a setting for something that is the normal setting if it is not set...For example, the default setting of the blinker in your car is OFF. You can change it if you want. On your computer there are default colors, web settings, directory locations (my documents), security settings, etc.

first you need to learn to spell :)

safe mode: most drivers are turned off. you cant print, not go online, etc.
That mode is meant to find solve problems.

encryptet means like coded. It means a secure site.

3. default. man, how else can you explain default then just with ....ummm....default ?
Lets see...I bet you refering to a default device like a printer.
So if you have 2 printers connected, you can choose the number one, the one, you will print if you dont tell your computer to print on the other one.

PS> damn, I need to learn to spell, too, hehe.
