I am considering buying Tekken 2 and Tekken 5, but I've heard nothing but bad reports about them. Should I get them, or get something DDR or 2K6 instead?
Note: My console is PS2.

try the tekken series. it didn't become well known because it was awful. millions of hardcore tekken fans can't be wrong. i say you go for it. maybe buy one at a time just in case you don't like it.

I love the Tekken series. I would say that 2 is a good one and I loved 4 also. I hadn't heard any bad reports about them. But I've been playing the series for a while.

I loathe Tekken the fighting isn't fun at all for me, if you're into fighting games try Marvel Vs Capcom 2, any Street Fighter game, OR any Soul Calibur game. If I had to choose from your list, I'd pick DDR, I have Max, Max 2 and Extreme, great stuff.

No you should not buy them i have all of the Tekken games for PS2 and none of them worked so i had to take them back

i have only trieed tekken 3, but i think it is worth buying!
