My mom wants me to go to dental or medical school and she says that Latin can really help. But I took French 1 last year. Should I just continue French? Do you think I should just take Latin for my future?

Take French. It will help you if you ever meet people from French speaking regions. Africa (former colonies) France, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, and some parts of Canada. Latin is great because a lot of medical terms are in Latin. Also do what you want just because your parents want you to do one thing doesn't necessarily mean you have to do it. I took 3 years of French in High school, but when I got to college I am planning to take German.

French is great - but it not going to help you big time - Latin is so clutch in learning names of things and understanding vocabulary - Latin ..while not spoken will help education
