Years and years ago, I saw one of the films, it was about a woman in jail, who became friendly with the guy who burried the bodies when inmates died in jail. Cutting a long story short, she was in cohoots with the chap who burried the people, and when she heard the death bell, it was planned that she crept into the room, opened the coffin, laid on top of the dead inmate, shut the coffin, the chap came along, took the coffin out to the field away from the prison, then came back later and let her out so she was free......the twist to this film was that when she entered the coffin she didnt notice who was in there and when she struck a match when the coffin was burried, she found that it was the man she was in cohoots with. Any idea of what the film was called and can i get a copy of dvd?

Oh you maybe right, I could have been hitchcock.....i now seem to remember him saying a little phrase at the end of each show........and its ringing bells.

I remember the story, but I think it was from 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' called 'Final Escape'
The man who helps her is an elderly black guy.

I know the one you mean. Not 100% sure of the tittle. On Play.com they do the set of of all the 'tales' from the tales from the unexpected range. They don't sell them individually, but I can guarantee if you like that story you will like the rest

I'mnot sure but they are repeating tales of the unexpected on one of the freeview channels. I cant remember which one but I think is ITV3 possibly! Get TV times and you should find it in there.
