We didn't do anything.
We usually just go and watch the fireworks in our small little town. But our town had to cancel it this year. A few days ago, someone broke into the building where all of the fireworks were being stored. They took most of them. Their greed spoiled the fun for our entire town. It's sad. Hopefully, they won't end up in the ER with their body parts blown off due to their ignorance on how dangerous those big explosives are.
Despite that setback, our greatest pleasure comes from just being American... with or without fireworks!!!

My mom spent all night calling the cops on people who blew stuff up. Mortor rounds are illegal in most areas.

Not me. We live in the city and it's too dry in country because of the drought. I had to buy my kids those fake fireworks that pop out confetti. It sucked!
