Do you dislike it? Why? Is it the people or the government you dislike?

I'm kind of surprised right now. There was this big America bashing on Yahoo Answers a little while back, there hasn't been any on this question yet.

In the USA, the people ARE the government. It is true that many people do not agree with the government, but a larger majority voted this government into power. In a little while we will vote again and the people will again decide who their government shall be. Unlike other countries, we really do rule ourselves. Because of that fact, we have tons of opposition between us, because we are ALL government leaders encouraged to have and to voice our many diverse opinions. If you dislike the USA in general, what you are actually saying is that you either don't think people should be allowed to rule themselves or that you don't like it that people have many different opinions than your own. Both of these positions say loud and clear that your opinions are too poorly contrived to stand the scrutiny of others.

I have mixed feelings about it, but it's my birth country, my home.
Not many people realize it ,but those of us who live in USA, have more rights and freedoms that we might have, even in the middle east. Is it the people or the government I dislike (the most?)? In some ways, the people- in terms of attitudes. But it's mostly the government that I dislike.

I love the USA, though not particularly keen of current president and his party. I have been lucky enough to visit many places and know how fortunate we are here. My only wish is that more Americans would not take for granted how lucky we are and how even our poorest citizens have more than the wealthiest of some nations.

I like their culture, I like the people, but I don't Know why during history they always tried to abuse other countries for themselves,
to be the best, and some of the Americans support this abuse and are happy with it?

i like the USA, it is a nice free counrty... i don't hate the people but i hate their ignorance in regards to the policies of their government abroad spacially in the middle east, i hate how they don't know or how they THINK they know...
and of course i hate the government of the USA, the cause of everything we suffer from here in the middle east starting with Israel and ending by Osama Bin Laden and Al- Qa'eda.

Love the people, the soldiers
Hate the leaders but pray they change their pride, lust and greed before we all die from stupidity.
