This is exactly why I do not go in public swimming pools or anything public for that matter.

In phys. ed. class.. (all girls) we had a whole swimming unit for months, and obviously people would have their periods. So my teacher said that you shouldn't go swimming if your period just started (the first 2 days) but you can go swimming after that. You can go swimming after the heavier flow because the water pressure squeezes your body so no blood comes out. Or you can wear a tampon.

why won't your mom let you wear a tampon they are safe as long as you use them correctly. and NO..don't just go swimming without anything while on your period b/c blood will come out and get in the pool. bad idea. either don't go swimming while on you period or use a tampon.

Oh honey!! Please don't go swimming without anything!! You will bleed in the pool! Have you ever had blood come out in the bath tub. Its kind of gross. Why won't your mom let you wear tampons? seriously just sneak one! How will she know? A pad would just swell up with water. If you have never worn a tampon please read the instructions on putting one in. And if you don't want to disobey your mom, just don't swim!

ur period stops in the water but you might have some traces in ur bathingh suit from b4 u get in. dont wear a pad in the water b/c it will be highly noticeable and it'll suck up some water, try to convince ur mom to let u use a tampon jus 4 that 1 time

Be patient, go swimming when ur period ends. Due to water pressure, there will not be any flow of blood out. However, once you get out of water, blood will start leaking, which is very gross.

Oh gross! What if someone was drowning near you and started swallowing all your blood? Either you wear a tampon or you stay out of the pool
