NB: eternal doesn't have to be the same as the life you lead now only infinitely prolonged.

No one deserves eternal life it is a promise made to by Christ,

"Whosoever believeth in me shall never die"

It is a gift for total acception of Jesus and of God.

In other words it is a gift to us from God even though we all sin.

No one is better or superior to anyone else we are born and the only certainty is that we will all die, or a least cease to live as we do now. It is the definitive of faith as no proof exists

Eternal life? It's not for me...I want to just be around long enough to see my kids become professionals, see my kids' weddings, a good father and a good mother, and meet my grandkids. After that things start breaking down and I want to live and have a good quality of life. What good is it to live an eternal life if you can't enjoy it? I don't want my kids changing my diapers forever! I think I'd just wanna die by then.

We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. This is why we pray each day and ask forgiveness of our sins. So that we may have eternal life. I don't think anyone was worthy but Jesus Christ. He died for our sins. But he died so that we may have a chance for eternal salvation. So we can live again if we choose to. I pray that God feels I am worthy. I hope everyone else does too.

we were given the privalage of life and I think good people deserve eternal life exspecially living in a world like this where evil is everywhere and the good people have to suffer.

We all deserve eternal DEATH.. constantly dying.

But thank the Father for giving us a way of escape!!

Now, because of Jesus, I have full confidence and assurance of being saved from the fire, -by his name and authority.

After all, he's the keys to Hades and Hell.

the soul is eternal, we only need to get out of the circle of birth and death and we will live eternally, since we no longer will have a material body.

Nobody deserves eternal live. It is not something to be earned. It is a gift to be taken.

I wouldn't want this. Could you imagine being around forever and never being able to permanently retire? Just awful.

I don't want to see a zillion generations of my family line. They'd probably shove me in a rest home and forget about me.
