Do you think anything would have changed differently in the 6 years of Bush if Gore was president?

What current events would/would not be occurring if Al Gore was President instead of Bush?

Good question, I have thought about this many times.

First of all we would not be at war in Iraq, we never would have invaded them. There would be many more American soldiers alive and less pain and heartache from surviving families. Saddam might still be around but the amount of deaths in Iraq would probably be less.

There would be more emphasis on the environment, although there may not be more action due to the red tape of politics, but at least more awareness.

Haliburton would be making less money than it is now.

Why do you bypass to hospitals once you get unwell? have you ever or will you attend a school? have you ever heard of a company called Amnesty global? have you ever compared the placement and remedy of females and diverse ethnic communities interior the West (frequently Christian) as antagonistic to interior the East (frequently non-Christian)? Do you make a contribution to a charity, or help out at a homeless protect? did you already know the way many little ones are fed, housed, and clothed in orphanages around the realm? did you already know what the purple bypass is? What about Goodwill? did you already know the way the thousands escaped from lower than the thumb of the Roman Catholic heirarchy interior the sixteenth century? apparently not. each and each and every of the above become carried out, invented, or ordinary by using Christians. and that is not even making a dent in what Christianity has finished for this international. examine up on heritage earlier you come back on the following embarrassing your self along with your lack of expertise.

World would be safer with Gore. There would be no Iraq War or ridiculous unnecessary loss of lives, $$ and silly War on Terror.
US would maintain credibility with rest of world and US economy would not be screwed up. And Dubai Bush would not exposed as a moron and worst President ever :)

Gore is a first class idiot. He would have surrendered and sold out the country just like Clinton did,and you would have scribbled this question in Ayrab. Be glad people had enough sense to send him back to his lily pad instead of giving him the presidency!!!

Things would be the same as they ate now. Except more conservatives would be supporting Gores actions of going into Iraq. But if he were elected now? His promises to get power would destroy any chance of ridding the woirld of terrorists.

Well let's see. The war would be in Afghanistan were it belongs. We would probably have Osama by now. The national debt would not be in the stratosphere. Congress would be getting along well enough to get some business done with compromise if necessary. And the rest of the world(I mean our Allies) would not hate us. Other than that I can't think of anything--can you??

simple we would have concentrated on getting bin laden and not have attacked Iraq.
gore would of enforced the clean air statutes that bush made ineffective after lobbiests won a victory for polluting coal plants that poison our childrens lungs creating a 4 times the average incidence of asthma and other lung related diseases around the plants that spuee this toxic waste.
bush recieved millions in contributuions from the top coal plant ceo's and there employees so they got what they wanted whats a few hundred thousand lives compared to profits .those poor people would of died from something right and all they do is blame big enegy companies that put millons of tons of polutiants in the air causing ddisease and death.
BUSH is a murderer and needs to be charged .
ITS like drunk driving you are going to hurt people eventually so it is forbidden but bush is above the law and does not care about others passing laws that allow plants to spend million and hundreds of millions with no new scruber to protect the people .THAT is consperacy to commit murder in my book and we should charge bush for his role in this crime along with all those who contributed to passing this type of law that will kill thousands and reduce the health of all those who are near these plants and thats hundreds of square miles surounding them depends on which way the wind blows.
Al i do not think would of signed laws that made it ok to kill a certain % of americans so profits would be maintained.

if only this were so, there wouldnt be the two wars, including talks of another war on the table, gas prices wouldnt be so high, the division between rich and poor wouldnt be as wide, education wouldnt suffer as much, the industrial workers(in particular those in the steel mining industry) wouldnt have to fight as hard to get a decent income, alaska would be free of exploitation...and most of all citizens probably wouldnt have their constitutional rights slowly stripped away from them!
