I have Exim configured to reject fictional users.

However, spammers are currently using some of my domains with fictional users and some of their messages are bouncing from their destinations.

I am getting dozens of automated emails a day to postmaster about these bounces from SMTP servers round the world.

They are obscuring any genuine bounce messages.

What steps can I take to reject bounce messages caused only by fictional users?

by isolating the trusted domains from which bounce messages are being received from postmaster, using an excusivity filter, and applying a macro to automatically delete all messages, incuding bounce messages (detected by searching text as well as origin address) from inbox. It is likely that your filters are currently set to only search for fictional users in the "from" address line. Change this to "all content", and fix your problem. Be very specific, using only unique terms, or you could be accidently deleting good email, and set your safe list (trusted domain names) to override all other commands.
