When I did that I ended up a week late. Give yourself a week and if you still don't have it take a pregnancy test (if you're active) or call your doc and tell her what happened and see what she has to say. Good luck.

I used to do this all the time. I would stop every 3 months to have my period. I did this until I missed two periods and started to worry. My doctor told me that it was normal for your body to get used to not having them if you play games with your pills. I haven't done this in a while, but will probably do it again in the future.

I had the opposite happen actually, my period started about halfway through the new pack and lasted for 2 weeks or so! I guess when you screw with your cycle like that you are bound to have some problems. But I wouldn't worry about it, it will correct itself. Just go about everything as if it happened like it normally should.
If you are really concerned about it, talk to your doctor again. But I would just wait, probably another day or so and it will likely appear.

yeah well i do not think it was good of the doctor to tell you to go ahead with the pill just for you will not have a period.. wait and see and hopefully your period will start.. i would call my doctor and tell her though about this.. and after your period starts and when it is time to start taking the pill again make sure you do and every day like you are suppose to.. it is best to take the pill as it instructs you too.. good luck to you....

If you took the pill each day, don't worry. Your period will come. Start the next pack when you are supposed to regardless of what happens in the meantime.

Now your body is confused.
If you hate your period..get Depro Vera shots.
It is a shot you get in the arm once every 3 months
for birth control and your period usually disappears
while on the shot. I took it for 7 years and didn't have any
problems! I loved it!

I did it a few times, and it will mess up your cycle the first month after skipping a period. I wouldn't worry. It will go back to clockwork next month.
