be very carefull about short lets as you must make sure the tenancy agreement is spot on or you will end up with a tennat who wont get out and has the law on their side ..go through an agency it may work out cheaper in the long run...

Gumtree or Loot.

Gumtree is more popular. people who are looking for short leases will look on gumtree, its free and easy to advertise.

You can get a lease from WHSmith and get them to sign it for two months. Get them to pay a deposit of at least a month. Most people will stick to this as there is plenty out there to rent so dont worry about people not moving. You will be okay
