well, of course the children should think that he is their uncle. he is their uncle...uncle-hood is not passed by genetic heredity. if the boy and girl were adopted into the same family (regardless of whether they had any other connection) they became brother and sister. and the brother of the mom is the uncle.
as for the child and family services question, the first place they would normally look to place children of a deceased mom is with the mom's husband (if any) then with a sibling of the deceased mom, then with grandparents

I dont see why not. You dont have to be blood related to adopt/foster someone, and I think that Social Services would rather place the kids with someone they know, and have a connection to (blood or not) than with total strangers.

I completely trust ju1244. As a foster figure who's in the technique adopting a 3yo, and who also has a 12yo daughter, who's our blood daughter, i am going to allow you to comprehend it really is an really vast and not ordinary adjustment on your blood children. And to attempt to soak up youngsters, you're merely soliciting for difficulty. i'm not asserting youngsters do not deserve a competent homestead... they deserve residences that are fairly geared to in ordinary words them. maximum foster youngsters have vast time issues stemming lower back to a knotted up formative years both from their beginning dad and mom and / or from being tossed round in foster care. those children choose alot of steerage and that i does not placed my children by using that. there is too many negative aspects. So in case you want to develop right into a foster figure to youngsters, then do precisely that... both haven't got youngsters or wait to have them. i does not do both together. it is going to likely be too demanding on anybody. do not fool your self into wondering it really is gonna be one large vast pajama celebration and also you will get to do one yet another's hair. those youngsters have severe themes and ought to do somewhat very undesirable issues.

yes, and would probably be a preffered adopter as he would know the family, and the children could keep in touch with people they already know.
