I was walking around in abercombie when this cute guy I have been crushing, Bryan, on came up to me and asked me out. How could I not say no to him! So after we talked for a while, he had to go. I went home afterwords, too, to find an invitation for my friend's huge sweet sixteen! It was the same day as my date with Bryan! If I go on the date, my friend will be angry at me, and if I go to the party, Bryan will never go out with me again. Or even talk to me! Help me! What should I do!!!!!

Surely a birthday party won't last all day, and neither would a date. If the events are at the same time, call Bryan and reschedule it for earlier or later in the day.
If the date could only work for that day, go to the party! It would mean so much to your friends. Plus, you can have a date anytime, and if Bryan won't go out with you or speak to again for going to a friend's party instead of a date with him, he's not a person worth dating.

Ask Bryan to go to the party with you. If he's not interested, think about whether it's that important that you go out with him at all.
If he shows no respect for you or your friend who want to spend this landmark birthday together, then do you really want anything to do with him?
Remember, this is probably the 'friend' that will be there for you if and when you and Bryan don't work out for any reason.

friends before guys- just ask him to reschedule the date, something came up. if he doesnt go out with u again or talk to you again, then i am not sure thats even the kind of boyfriend you'd want, now would you? if he refuses to go out with you at another time, hes not worth it. he obviously doesnt care about you if he'd do that. guys come and go, friends last forever. and something like missing their SWEET 16 for a guy that doesnt even appear to like you (if you say that he would never talk to you again) is not worth it.

I think you should ask your firend if you can bring someoen along...and if she is your bff you are suppose to be able to talk to her and tell her what you just told us, and ask her if you can bring him with you. After all you would be on your date wtih Bryan and you would bea t your friends party too. Good Luck!

Try to meet Brian and explain the situation....
You can either postpone the date or invite him to come to the party with you.
If you explain your point .. and that friends are important to you .. I'm sure he will be pleased. He will see that you are not afraid of talking to solve problems and, also, that you are a good friend to your friends!
