The line...which is called the "linea negra" is already there before pregnancy. It just gets darker as you go farther along

the line is already there. ur increase in hormones increases the darkness. the line darkened under my belly button early and then around 20 wks the line darkened above my navel.

I found mine to show around 5 months.
It starts at your naval and goes down to your pubic bone.
It fades after baby's arrival.

i dont know when it appears but some women dont even get them...i didnt and i was HUGE! so if yoou dont get it tis nothing to be worried about
