Take it from me as a teenager (if you're one though)...don't. I tried it because it looked so awesome and I thought it would just have that nice effect on me. I tried it, but that terrible smell coming through your nose absolutely puts you off of it. And when you see what it does to the people's skin and stuff, it's not cool. I do still sometimes get those urges to do it, but I keep thinking what my friends and family will do! You have more to life than a pack of smokes that ruins your body, beauty and family, and fires a hole in your wallet! Rather don't!
When I tried it I had to hang out with the smokers, and let me tell you what, they looked like trailer trash. The majority of them were girls and it was awful to see how their beauty was taken awya by a disgusting habit. And in my class the people who were out most of the time were the smokers, they can't live even a half an hour without a smoke. And because of this, their grade were bad. They also tried to hide their beauty with make up...one thing, it made them loook even more uglier! Guys don't like girls who smoke. They don't wanna kiss an ashtray mouth...I've kissed a smoker and it was absolutely FOUL! The smoke gets to you in all ways, your nose and your mouth. It was awful! Don't ruin your life, it's not nice. It makes you look old. My one english teacher is a smoker and she's a bout 26 years old, trust me I thought she was like 34!

I say don't.

1. It's expensive. That extra $3 a day for a pack of smokes adds up to over $1,000 a year.
2. It yellows your teeth, your fingers, and your fingernails. Sexy, huh?
3. Smokers have bad breath.
4. Smokers lose part of their sense of smell, so they don't know how bad their breath is. Lick an ashtray for the effect.
5. Smokers have more wrinkles on their faces from skin damage, both internal and external.
6. Smokers have a higher chance of contracting lung cancer, emphysemia, mouth cancer, tongue cancer (ask Eddie Van Halen how that's working for him), throat cancer, and other lung diseases. And that's just a partial list.
7. Smoking is something you'll have a hard time quitting because of the addictive additives and because the habit is comforting. You'll want to quit because of the things listed above, but you won't want to, at the same time. It's nearly impossible to quit and make it stick.

So I'd have to say no. Life's tough enough. Why add to your load?

Think about it! I mean come on I'm sure you have seen the dangers from smoking and how it destroys your life. In my opinion, i really don't think that you should start smoking and I'm just 13. But i cant control and tell you what to do with your life so you have to make that conscience decision. But it is always a good thing to check.

Yes, by all means, you should start smoking. Just think of all the benefits of smoking. You get to spend all that money and what you get in return is yellow teeth, walk around smelling like an ash tray, heart disease, lung cancer, shortness of breath, social pariah. I mean come on, it's a great deal. And of course if you decide in five years or so that you don't really like it that much after all, well, we all know how easy it is to quit. I say go for it. It's so cool.

Personally, I don't even understand the need to smoke. It's exactly the same feeling like standing over open fire and inhaling the smoke. So why is it any different if you suck a cigarette? No matter how good is a tobacco, smoke is smoke!

Don't start.
It's bad for your health.
It makes all your clothes stink.
It makes your breath stink.
It makes your house and furniture reek.
They make your car's interior stink and ashes can burn holes in
the seats and carpet.
It will turn-off potential dates that don't smoke.
Once you start, it's hard as heck to break the habit.
More and more places are becoming smoke-free and you don't want to be freaking out for a cigarette in those places.
Smoking keeps you from being active ... you'll be heaving and trying the breath while non-smokers leave you behind in the dust.
So, to answer your question.... don't ever start.
It's really NOT COOL to do. Period.

If your brain cells are working you should be able to see that smoking is expensive to your wallet and health, socially unacceptable, make your clothes stink as well as your skin and hair, will get you less dates, will be majorly inconvenient since you can't smoke in so many places, like movies, work, school or in some places bars and clubs!
This is a bad choice on so many levels!! I*t makes no sense to start this.

No way! I've been smoking for almost 10 years and I need to quit but it won't be easy and that's why I'm procrastinating. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you how expensive this habit is or list all the diseases you are at risk for. You can find that out for yourself on truth.com or just by watching their very disturbing commercials. In the end it's a choice you make for yourself regardless of what others tell you to do, but please, take our advice, don't do it!

no smoking is bad...it can cause alot of thing...lung cancer...heart disease...people start up the habit of smoking for 2 main reasons...1 to try and be cool...too fit in and 2 to supress there stress...it puts people at ease...in there own world..with absolutely no problems...but cigarettes are bad...they have many chemicals in them that harm the environment...they taste gross...and plus...they cost alot...

It's easy to start, but difficult to give up, and does cause a lot of health concerns, slows u down. Been a smoker for years and would not suggest anyone does it. Learn by others experience, sometimes.
