The Chinese will eventually pull the plug on North Korea. They are on the verge of the strongest economy the world has ever known. It is in there best economic interests to do this. The president just can't say ,"well the chinese will handle it.". But that's what will happen.

Well lets get one thing straight, they didn't fire a nuclear missile!!
They may have a bomb, but they don't have one small enough to be put in a missile, and with the performance of them, I wouldn't be that concerned.
I spent 29 months in Korea in the early 1960's with the 7th Infantry Division. The same crap has been going on forever.
Only a truce exists between us and N Korea! Technically we are still at war!

We are worried about N. Korea, but the Bush administration has tarnished the reputation of the U.S. so much that we can't do anything about it now, and N. Korea knows about it. The next administration is going to have quite a mess to clean up from this current one.

They launched 4 missiles none of which worked. I don't think we need to worry just yet. 3 were just regular missiles the 4th was the one capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. Not one of them went any distance at all. But I would think they need watching.
Sorry an apology they have launched 7 to date you were right. However i still stand by my reply that they do not work--yet!

So funny, all the world conflict are not over oil, we are all running out anyway. What then? Anyway ... North Korea is not worth the sweat. Let it play out and we will deal with it as the cards are played.

I like you are concerned about this lunatic governed dictatorship. I am not sure what we are capable of doing to stop him. I think he knows that we are tied down in Iraq and he and Iran are taking advantage of it. Of course I hope he knows that if he ever attacks the US or Japan we may be forced to use Nuclear weapons to stop him.

there's no oil in North Korea, and not enough troops to do anything about them since they're all in Iraq and Afghanistan securing oil resources. Yes, Afghanistan was over oil as well.
