Last time I asked how to balance this equation showing symbols but I ay have written the symbols wrong so here is the word equation: Magnesium carbonate = magnesium oxide + carbon dioxide. Can anyone balance it?

i think its right cuz i hate balancing equations.check it with your pals to make sure.

This equation is balanced.

Please note that Mg2+ and (CO3)2- => MgCO3
and Mg2+ and O2- => MgO
