I saw the weather man and was extremely disappointed. I absolutely love Nicholas Cage and thought the movie was rubbish - no actual story to it, no life in it, no nothing. It was very poor.
I saw Pirates of the Caribbean last night and thought it was good, there were a few odd bits in it but generally good. not as good as the first, but will probably be better than the third.

Yes. I have the CD.
The plot is hackney: Son can't measure up to family expectations. Possessing a child with no idea how to relate to her.....yada...yada...yada.
No originality....more or less a plagiarism of hundreds of films.
As for your adjective: Great
I'm sorry to say that Cage stands in a long shadow of the great male actors: Bogart, Quinn, Taylor, Flynn etc.
And no. I am not anticipating his next film. There are very few screenwriters around these days with any originality that would make an actor great, not to mention a movie.

I was once the one character buckled in laughter whilst Nicholas Cage was once walking approximately in a undergo outfit after decking the fats chook! Totally guff movie however hillarious despite the fact that it was once supposed to be critical. And the bit on the finish in which he's being burned alove and was once like, ough, ouch, arrgh no, please, ouch. Come on - if that was once truly lifestyles he'd were screaming like a banshee no longer a macho hollywood hero demise like a marter.

Wholly guff film however hillarious even though it was once supposed to be serious. And the bit at the finish the place he is being burned alove and used to be like, ough, ouch, arrgh no, please, ouch. Yeah, I liked it too. Reminded me of John Irving's writing. Pirates will be great. So will Superman.
