I'm needing to find a do it yourself motion to modify child custody. I'm hoping to save myself some money and file this myself.

You need a lawyer. There isn't a do-it-yourself method when it comes to the kids.

in Texas you can't do it yourself (and i would suspect it's the same in most states) HOWEVER....if you are low income, there is a free legal pool in all states.....here it's called the "volunteer Lawyer Association". See, all lawyers MUST do one of two things to keep their membership in the bar association -- either so may hours of continuing education, or a certain number of hours of "pro bono" work to give back to the community. Here in Houston, a different lawfirm hosts the Vol. Law. Assoc. each month, giving free legal representation NOT JUST LEGAL ADVICE -- to the public. It's a win-win. You should research that in your city and state....see who is out there. Good luck!

some courts have an office to help pro se litigants. There will not answer legal questions, but may give you forms. This is such an important issue in your life, look into geting professinoal help.

call child support unit in your town and have them send it to you. All you have to do is fill it out and hand it in.

try online thru your local clerk of courts or go to clerk of courts or family court commissioner. (whatever handles family court in your area)
