That is France's record in the last month. Portugal ? 1-0 against strong Angola (if you saw the match you know Angola is no one's push over) Portugal WON 2-0 against powerful Iran, 2-1 against powerful Mexico and 1-0 against Holland with only 0 and then 9 men for 95% of the game and Ronaldo was deliberately injured. A WEAKENED Portugal WON against England -- GOOD penalties and GOOD goalkeeping Views ? Your predictions ? (Your country of origin ?) Please some of you don't come knocking Portugal simply because Portugal eliminated your country No hard feelings... . Let's have dispassionate predicitons with lots of WHYs. Thank you

You had to wait 118 minutes to score against which to me was dubious Germany squad. Nhh... Pray that youhave to face the French. YOu WILL win against the french but never against this FULL strength Portugal. Unless you pay FIFA or drug the Portugal players. Oh no, I am not kidding, LOL !!

Deco didn't fail to score in that match and neither did Costinha. 9 men wereenough tobeat Holland (nice Maniche goals, wasn't it ?) And England were the ones who could not win against a weakened team. JEAOULSY is a very low sentiment.

You forgot Spain (3:1). One of the major favorites...
Remember that France beat two of the MAJOR world cup favorites, Spain and Brazil. Also, they are improving each game.
Portugal couldn't beat England with 10 men for 60 minutes, Rooney and Beckham were both out. Technically they showed a very poor performance against England. France dominated Brazil for 90 minutes which is not easy task ...
May the best win ! Allez les Bleus!!! If Portugal wins, I hope they will win the WC...

Portugal doesn't know how to play soccer, they won because of a combination of luck and antigame play they have. Angola, Iran are not powerful at all. We all saw what happened with Netherlands and England. They weren't even able to score against England when they were 10! Actually England played better in 10 than Portugal in 11. There's no way in hell Portugal goes further.
I'm totally neutral in this, my country didn't even qualify.

France is in a way boring. But they have merits and will fight hard and maybe rough. I don't think France will win. Their victory over Brazil in 1998 seemed contentious. Now, when France convincingly beat Brazil again it seems to me that the fault was with Brazil.
Portugal has a good chance and they will not miss it, kicking France out.
